Congratulations to INQ7.net on its third anniversary.
It never fails to impress me how our company continues
to evolve and blaze a trail among local internet companies.
The business that we started in February 2001 has truly
done an amazing job at delivering news to people around
the world.
Who would have thought that 1.18 million unique visitors
would log on to the website in January 2004? In January
2001, at the height of the EDSA Dos revolution that toppled
the Estrada regime, when the now-defunct dotcom www.100hot.com
ranked INQ7.net as the 11th most visited website among
international news websites, only 250,000 visitors actually
visited.
Clearly the business models that we made in 2001 have
evolved in much the same explosive manner as the site’s
fans have multiplied. I congratulate the entire INQ7.net
Team in their abilities to meet the continuing challenges
of doing business in the Internet Age.
